Premium UPVC fascias, soffits, bargeboards and cladding installation across Leeds. Maintenance-free, weather-tested materials in a wide range of colours and styles. Finished to a standard that lifts the appearance of the whole property — and stays looking new for decades.
Fascias, soffits and bargeboards are the trim that runs along your roof's edges. Done well, they protect the roof structure, hide the rafter ends, hold your gutters and finish the property beautifully. Done badly — or left untouched for too long — they rot, sag, let water into the roof, and drag down the look of even a well-maintained home.
At Kirkstall Roofing, we install UPVC fascias and soffits across Leeds — replacing tired timber and old aluminium with maintenance-free modern systems. The result: a property that looks lifted, a roof that stays drier, and gutters that finally drain properly.
The face board running along the roof edge. Holds gutters. Available in plain, ogee, square and decorative profiles.
The underside board. Plain, vented, hollow or solid. Ventilated soffits keep roof spaces breathing properly.
The gable-end trim. Decorative styles available to match Victorian, Edwardian or modern properties.
Decorative gable cladding, dormer cladding and full-wall systems for older properties needing a facelift.
Most older Leeds properties have timber fascias and soffits, which need scraping, sanding and repainting every 3–5 years to stop them rotting. UPVC removes that maintenance burden entirely:
A proper soffit and fascia replacement is more than clipping new plastic over the old boards. Our installers strip the old timber back completely, inspect the rafter feet (the most common hidden rot point on older Leeds homes) and replace any that have gone, fit a waterproof felt apron, then fix the new UPVC boards with the correct polytop nails — not glue and hope. Capping over rotten timber is the classic cowboy shortcut in this trade: it looks fine for a year, then the rot carries on underneath where you can't see it.
Every full replacement includes scaffold or tower access, removal and disposal of the old boards, and refitting or renewing your guttering — which has to come off for fascia work anyway, so it's the cheapest possible moment to renew it. Many customers have us do fascias, soffits and gutters as one job for exactly that reason.
