Premium UPVC fascias, soffits, bargeboards and cladding installation across Leeds. Maintenance-free, weather-tested materials in a wide range of colours and styles. Finished to a standard that lifts the appearance of the whole property — and stays looking new for decades.
Fascias, soffits and bargeboards are the trim that runs along your roof's edges. Done well, they protect the roof structure, hide the rafter ends, hold your gutters and finish the property beautifully. Done badly — or left untouched for too long — they rot, sag, let water into the roof, and drag down the look of even a well-maintained home.
At Kirkstall Roofing, we install UPVC fascias and soffits across Leeds — replacing tired timber and old aluminium with maintenance-free modern systems. The result: a property that looks lifted, a roof that stays drier, and gutters that finally drain properly.
What We Install
UPVC Fascias
The face board running along the roof edge. Holds gutters. Available in plain, ogee, square and decorative profiles.
UPVC Soffits
The underside board. Plain, vented, hollow or solid. Ventilated soffits keep roof spaces breathing properly.
Bargeboards
The gable-end trim. Decorative styles available to match Victorian, Edwardian or modern properties.
UPVC Cladding
Decorative gable cladding, dormer cladding and full-wall systems for older properties needing a facelift.
Why UPVC Over Timber?
Most older Leeds properties have timber fascias and soffits, which need scraping, sanding and repainting every 3–5 years to stop them rotting. UPVC removes that maintenance burden entirely:
Never needs painting — wipes clean with a damp cloth
Doesn't rot — engineered for British weather, UV-stable
Long lifespan — 30+ years before replacement is needed
Wider colour range than paintable timber — including grey, anthracite, black, oak grain and rosewood finishes
Better insulation properties than aluminium alternatives
10-year manufacturer warranty on premium ranges
Signs Your Fascias & Soffits Need Replacing
Visible rot, splits or holes in timber boards
Paint peeling, flaking or blistering even after recent repainting
Soffits sagging or coming away from the wall
Gutters pulling away from the fascia
Birds, squirrels or bats getting into the roof through gaps
Damp patches at the top of upstairs walls (often a fascia/soffit failure)
Black mould inside the loft (poor ventilation — vented soffits fix this)

Yes. UPVC fascias come in a wide colour range including white, cream, grey, anthracite, black, light oak, golden oak and rosewood woodgrain finishes. We'll bring samples to your free quote visit.
If your roof has a cold-roof construction (most older Leeds homes), yes — ventilation is essential to stop condensation forming inside the loft. We'll recommend vented soffit boards or fit specific vent strips/disc vents as part of the install.
Almost always worth doing — your gutters need to come off to fit the new fascia. If your existing guttering is in decent condition we can refit it. If not, replacement at the same time is much cheaper than doing it later. See our guttering page.
Yes — all old timber is removed from site, the rafter feet inspected and replaced if rotten, and a proper waterproof felt apron fitted before new UPVC boards go on. We don't cover over rotten timber, which is what cowboy installers do.
Yes — premium UPVC ranges carry a 10-year manufacturer warranty against discolouration and structural failure. Our workmanship guarantee sits on top for 10 years.
